Because I recently only read complaints about different nitpickings in gameplay, I feel that it's time to give some feedback out of any special topic.

I enjoy this game over all I've played so far (and I've played a lot of games, since I'm above fourty). It might be that my love for historical ships (especially frigates) is resposible for my love for the game, but I think there are many gameplay decisions which contribute to that too.

I must admire the great amount of details of the given ship models which all fit very neat into the game with their advantages and disadvantages. I love to watch youtube videos from NA, just to watch the ships sailing (without being distracted from the various combat tasks) and to see how other players act in certain situtations.

I like the fact that you can freely choose what you like to do, either trading, crafting or fighting. No one is forced to do something he don't like at all just for gameplay's sake. No one is forced to do PVP or PVE, you be successful in both. When you're in the mood to scan an enemy coastline for victims, you can catch some mates and do it. Or you search friends for a fleet mission against AI. Or you stay near your capital and set sails for a close single player mission.

Whether PVP or PVE, I've not encountered any serious tweaks which made me feel annoyed about the game. No, it's well worth the early access fee I've payed and I've spent nearly 200 hours of enjoyable gameplay.

I strongly recommend to keep things as simple as possible and to keep the variety of player acting as wide as possible. So far, I feel that this game is on a very good way to become the best naval action game ever published.

Hey devs, you've done incredible things. I'm sure you will bring this game to a successful finish.
