What's new:

Orders and Fleet orders now give XP to the whole group

Contract bug fixed - that forced players to sell to contracts lower than NPC prices

Invisibility and invulnerability timers unified - 30sec invis, 60 sec invul for all parties

 

Fixed bugs:

Spawns in lands chanced reduced

Mixed decks gunnery bugs fixed (carronades no longer affect long guns distance)

Prices fixed for several resource production buildings

 

Tunings:

Minor changes for guns and carronades. Reload slightly increased for lower class guns, damage reduced. 6 lb guns are most affected.

Ram leaks briefly reduced before further rebalances

Bots have lost the ability to equip best reload mods

Low ranked bots accuracy has been reduced.

sounds good!

 

was fighting in an Essex against AI BP and it was a challenge and fun- most of all because the damage seemed to be in line and the AI managed to miss a few shots. AI LGV even missed a whole broadside, 9pds didn't do too much against Essex' hull. So, if I'm not mistaken, splendid changes!

Fleet order XP from someone elses order posts itself in Global instead of going into the window for battle xp / gold and trading.

PLEASE remove the slow-boating at the beginning of missions... Adds ZERO gameplay and just costs you 5min of your time... Infuriating without A. SINGLE. BENEFIT.

Hi team :)

 

Regarding the changes to the cannons - Does this not make it more difficult for newer/lower ranked players?

My suggestion would be to alter the range of the cannon based on the weight of the ball (as it is in real life). A lot of the lower rank ships are considered more brawl friendly for leveling.

Would like to hear your opinions.

Maybe so... But I guess that PvP orientated gamers are loosing ground to PvE right now... Why on earth should the PvP server favorite PvE gamestyle?

 

BR restrictions, lesser joining times etc. makes all this harder get...  I want an OW with all the risk that goes with it and possibilities to engage in large battles or minor skirmishes... And if outnumbered I will loose my ship. It was so during napoleonic wars and it should be so now. 

 
OW shouldnt be such a peaceful place in a game with warships. Then maybe make a traders game? Instead of dislike "gankers" you should make any battle - even if outnumbered - worth to fight by giving extra xp or gold or ranks or whatever to those who fight outnumbered and loose....
 
In Red Orchestra 2 you will recieve bonus even if killed all the time. And in CoH2 its plain stupid not to fight to the very end....

I wonder how the 6pd nerf will affect shallow PBs. Those are impossible enough to win as attacker as it is.

 

I like the nerf to bots - this is a PVP game, I'm not playing it to be challenged by an AI opponent.

 

60 second invincibility flat is a great change. No more splitting of fleets.

The price of produce iron ore in ore mine changed from 26 to 74 each.After you increased the price of iron ore in the market from 58,74,86,95,103,122 to 149,finally you changed the price of production building.GOOD WORK!

I don't see it that way at all, there haven't been any updates benefiting PVE players in a long time. The way I see it, this is the devs listening to ALL of their players, not just a specific server.

 

As for the BR changes and whatnot, us PVP players were asking for a change due to excessive ganking and whatnot, they listened but didn't put in a change we like. The devs didn't forget about us, but they still have to develop the game along.

Could you, the Devs, please provide an official Cannon Breakdown graph of some sort?

 

Would love to be able to compare all the cannons against each other.

 

Damage / Reload / Penetration / DPS etc...  :huh:

A lot of what was mentioned regarding BR lessened and shorter joining time is indeed, an annoyance: however that was also a debate of chats in game by the community on several ocasions. Call them casuals if you will but, in end you need people if you want to PvP too.

Through my experiance, perhaps the introduction of 'shortening' the joining time for battle per a ship rank you have should be implimented. Becouse lets face it, 3rd and 2nd rates are slow elegant ladies, and they might miss onto the battlefield.
However that makes than for something else: correct co-ordination of big battles. That is far much more fun.

I mean dont we all enjoy the line battles?

Seriously.

 

Even as an undercrewed SoL I have enough time to reload everything by the time the ships are a mile apart.
