Help for the legally blind

Hi, I am currently legally blind but i still like playing most games without visual aids. I usually use the magnifier app available in windows and the color blind modes most games have available for use in their games. Since changing the size of the fonts would not be useful (magnifier app) but having the ability to change the coloring would help a lot. Port names, ships and other objects in white with a blue/white background is a non starter and red lettering is almost invisible in all magnifications. Please look to add a color blind scheme please.

If you press escape, then options and then graphics.

At the bottom you got color blind mode.

 

I have no idea if this actually works as I have no idea how it shall look like.

I have looked into it abit and in battle it changes the color red on the enemy to black, green for friendlys to blue.

Also the aiming reticle is changed from red to white.

 

That is currently what I have seen what its doing.

I use the colour blind setting. I think it makes a difference in the battles but tbh the world map is horrendous. So many indistinguishable pastel colours - there is no chance to see which nation owns which port.

 

One thing though is that the developers are including a colour blind mode which at least indicates that they are sensitive to the issue. Hopefully your concerns will be taken seriously and they will develope this function.
