Crafted Ship disappeared from docks

To whomever it may concern,

 

Last night at 2:00 a.m. CET I crafted a Victory class ship in Willemstad. I took it for a brief spin in the harbor, docked back up in Willemstad and logged out at some point.

 

Today after logging in again, the ship is gone from my docks without a trace. Could you please at least let me know what happened to that ship and if this is happening to other people?

 

I made an F11 report on it and I can provide logs or whatever you need - I just would like to know as I spent several days gathering the components and waiting for the labour hours (which are gone now) to make the ship

Captain, according to our logs you gave the ship to player PeLLaSGoS via trade window

I did no such thing ... the ship was returned to my care, so the matter is resolved ... but this bug is worth exploring further. PM me and Pellasgos please, if you want to know more about this strange occurrence.

 

Here is what happened to the best of my memory:

 

1. After I crafted the ship I opened a trade window with another player to let him check out the ship stats - closed that window

2. Some time later I traded 1 high grade crafting note to Pellasgos, the Victory was not part of that trade screen and wasn't even mentioned

 

He only found out he had a "second" Victory in his docks today when he left his (full) dock in Willemstad and docked back up only to find 5 ships (including my victory) in his docks.

 

I hope this information is helpful for you to reproduce what happened. It must have been a server side glitch with the trader windows, we think?
