Trader Snow Carronade (AI), PvE1 server

The range for the AI Carronades seems to have doubled!

 

Before the patch (9.7) I could keep the trader snow at range (just inside the outer rim of the battle map (lower right corner) and shoot them without being shot back. Now ... they are not even on that map, and are wailing me (with deadly accuracy). 

 

Did y'all change the range depicted on the location map (Bottom right corner of Battle screen)? Or did the range of the carronades get increased?
