sacapus Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Just attacked a trader brig and noticed it was fitted with guns, capped it and sent it to port. At port I noticed his gun slot was empty. What did he fire at me with ? A sling shot ?
Jan van Santen Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 It has 2 stern chasers ever since EA, idk about previous game versions though. http://navalaction.wikia.com/wiki/Traders_Brig You wont find them in the tbrig you captured, that much is right. But when you break it, you sometimes get small carriages
sacapus Posted April 17, 2016 Author Posted April 17, 2016 Wow, after 600 hours of gameplay I never noticed, always attacking them from broadside, probably the first time I'm behind one, probably due to the new positioning after this patch. lol. It took me by surprise, that was funny!

Baron Von WeisenCracker Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 (edited) Just attacked a trader brig and noticed it was fitted with guns, capped it and sent it to port. At port I noticed his gun slot was empty. What did he fire at me with ? A sling shot ? Yep .. quick breakdown for the traders: Trader Lynx: No guns Trader Cutter: No guns Trader Brig: 2 stern chasers .. but they magically disappear when you get it into port. Trader Snow: 3 X 18 lb Carronades, that are still on the ship after you get it into port. Gros Ventre: 10 X 9 lb Med or long cannons -- Guns are still there when captured/returned to port Cheers, Yank Edited April 18, 2016 by yankyaeger 2
