Lisa-Azra Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Yeah lots of responses, thirty odd pages of them with a lot of complaints about NPC capturing and ganking restrictions. I got to about page 10 and gave up, I guess the developers will do the same. hence writing on this branch of the forum. Land in battle, looks pretty but has little realism on open world. After battle I sailed to the coast and came out of battle to find myself back at the battle start. I rammed a ship side on and drove him into the shallows and he sailed away as if nothing had happened. NPC ships, I would like to capture one because now they are super ships, they have bigger guns but still sail faster than me, turn faster, never have to send as single shot out to find the distance, always have sailors ready for boarding without effecting gunnery or sailing, (BTW my ship is fully pimped with gold and blue upgrades) and this one the new trend can fire single shots, all with 100% accuracy almost as quick as I can fire a broadside. When I try to rapidly fire single shots it does not work. Why? because there is a delay between each space bar press, please do something about this bias. Also can fire a broadside then fire individual cannons as they load while if I fire a broadside all my cannons must load before I can fire them again. Ship upgrades will become obsolete. With the changes that make losing your ship easier who in their right mind is going to put high end upgrades on them especially permanent ones. It is madness to put them on rank 1 ships which have 1 durability unless you have five silver mines to make the upgrades. Upgrades should not be crafting note reliant but time and resource dependant, a basic takes low amount of time and resource and as you increase the quality they take more labour hours and materials to make. My last observation. Have the developers lived or been to the Caribbean? It is by the equator this means the sun rises and sets at almost the same time everyday at that is around 6am and 6pm, not 2 am and 9pm. Realism should cover everything. Moonless nights at sea are a lot darker, making nights much darker would increase challenge of evening battles. My very last point, I am not very good at this game. I have noticed it getting harder and harder to meet the needs on the current players, all experienced. How will a new player find the game in terms of achieving positive results without suffering too many negatives? Lisa Swims With Sharks 1

THIS (but maybe with full moon all the nights, since moonlees nights on the ocean are really totally black, and shifting sunrise and sunset at 7 am and 7 pm, since I actually lived in the caribbean and those are the times)!
