Rebel Witch Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 In EVE Online we have a killboard, however many people in naval action do not want a killboard mainly because it will show their losses. To appease those who want to keep their losses secret and to those who want to boast about their kills i have an idea. lets say captain jack sails his 3rd rate in multiple PVP battles and he gets credit for 3 sunk ships and 10 assists on pvp kills. Before he got those kills, his masts had no flags or banners on them except for his nation (or clan) flag. however with each kill and assist a new flag (for kills) and banner (for assists) was hoisted onto his masts. Lets say a captain gets 10 kills with one ship, that would be too many flags to put on a few masts so you could have a flag with a big X for ten on it. So people going around in fleets when they see a ship with multiple flags and banners on another players ship, they will know that player has done a great job in PVP with that ship, it is for prestige, bragging rights and just fun for PVPing records. of course all those flags and banners will go to the bottom with the last durability of a ship. these pvp flags, banners would replace the generic flag banners we now see on the ships.
