The Spud Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Its fairly easy to explain in my opinion, and I have experienced this myself when crafting. The ships that get crafted the most are the ships like the frigate that drop nice blueprints (ingermanland, conni, trino, BP, essex), so people craft these not to make money but to get the BP to craft bigger ships. Since they need to craft multiple ships of these to get the one they need, they will much rather lose money on the ship but sell it fast so they can reuse the money they have put in. While a Snow only drops the mercury blueprint, so they will not need to craft a huge amount of these before they have the blueprint. Like I said, i have sold exceptional snows at about 125-150k gold about two or three times very easily, I have made 3 gold mercury's but have sold non of them at that price, have now underpriced them to get some of my money back.

I've been selling my Exceptional BP-grind Frigates for around 160k and somehow I turn a profit. I guess the economy has stabilized.
