Pardons

I would like to see some Pardon system for Pirates.  I am sure many would like to switch nations, especially since the recent zerg.  Perhaps a pirate could receive a pardon for doing X number of kills for said nation against a defined enemy.  Or as simple as perform X amount of mission kills for the nation granting the pardon.  This could be interesting. I am not pirate, but it seems this may be a good addition.

I like the idea on paper, but until we see the devs end plan for the pirate nation, we really don't know what will work and what won't.

Then one could exploit this to see a nation chat or exploit the nation in some other ways..? ;/

Pardon or maybe even joining a new faction would seem like a sensible possibility after having a Letter of Marque from that nation. Main problems is that if these mechanics are not player driven but automatic and open for everyone, it would be really easy for nations to get spies and saboteurs into other nations without making new accounts or stuff like that and there wouldn't be anything the players of the target nation could do about it.
