I don't know where any of this is coming from, there may be 1-200 people on pvp2 at 3am but then again its 3am what do you expect? As for pvp yesterday a buddy and I sailed to the pipes around an enemy capital and guess what? I bet we we never went more than 5 minutes between battles including the time to run down the enemies and avoid the gank fleets that inevitably came to chase us off... if you want pvp in Charleston try the smal/large battles feature, not sure if anyone uses it (I personally dont cause I know how to find pvp) and you probably won't like that you most likely wont be able to seal club but pvp is pvp.

Ditto to a smaller community feel on PvP2.  It's great, we have more PvP than we ever did and most of the people complaining that they never got enough, left.  The self perpetuating prophecy for those who complained the most was bringing the moral of the rest of us down and we're happier without them.  Our active player zones are smaller and it concentrates us more.  No one wants to play on the other side of the map where nothing happens but we have all we need close by to sustain our current population.  We actually get to know who all the players are in the opposing factions are and it adds something a little more personal to the game.  When the fighting is a little too impersonal, you might as well PvE.

Unless there are two bob doles then it must have been the pirates you fought cuz i remember the name.

As for anyone who cant find pvp then either they have their chat box closed and sit in harbor or they are just not looking. Now that the population has dipped, every time a player is spotted our chat goes off with alerts.

If pvp1 players would stop making post poaching pvp2 players with offers of free ships gold etc then pvp2 would get bigger because any player buying the game from north or south america probably joins it. Now the last couple days ive seen people come into chat and ask players to join pvp1....just stop.

devs have said that if you want more action go to pvp1. Thus people went to PVP1.    Jump on pvp1 you have the same rank.  pick a country, find a clan.  I expect all countries help out transfer people.  Great Britain has moved whole clans in by capping ships for them to start becoming self sufficient again ASAP.

Most people like to be led and will follow the crowd.

I'm hoping the Dev's show the leadership that's needed to reverse the server migration........something to encourage players to go to PVP 2 instead of PVP 1.

I doubt there is anything they can really do that would not cause the same issue with PVP1.

Currently the only time the games servers get close to capacity it seems is when there are updates. At this time outside of keeping a minority of the games population happy there is no need for PVP2.

Anyone have any idea what that does to the overall server populations when some call for a mass migration from one server to the other.

And they have to start over again if they want to follow the crowd.

They quit

I know my buddy who actually told me about Naval Action and got me to join because he thought this game is very awesome.......and we played together lots......quit.

He took a couple weeks off because of work and his wife.......came back a couple days ago and asked what happened to the server population.

I told him what happened and he said the hell with this, I'll come back if and when they get the game figured out.

And he then went to a different MMO, there's lot's of them out there.......and he has lot's of friends who play MMO's.

I bet more than half the players that left PVP 2 in the last few weeks didn't move to PVP 1 .......... they left the game.

And before some of you say were getting a server wipe in several months anyways......so what difference does it make.

When the server wipe happens everyone will be in the same boat.......not just the unlucky ones in PVP 2.

One more tidbit..........if you want the server population to move from a small hardcore group of players to a much larger group then do things that make them happy and want to stay and even tell their friends to check it out.

Instead of encouraging things that turn people off.

Everyone new that population will drop tremendously after initial influx. This is specially true when you consider that most of features for casual, more PVE focused players are not here yet and in PVP organiastion is everything (situation got better in that regard since shortened timers where introduced and reinforcements disabled). PVP 1 got ahead coz it had bigger pop in the firs place and coz most of the pre-ea players (and most importantly clans) stayed there and new players where just siphoned into existing structures. PVP 2 with smaller pop and bigger percent of new players got hit way harder. Let us hope that diplomacy introduction, with corresponding port wipe and potential merge, will happen sooner than later,
