Dev post for those who are thinking when is the next big update:

for the next hot fix we are going to do 2 changes

1) Slightly reduce the crew requirements for sailing for all vessels from Cerberus and higher.

2) Slightly lower crew number per gun for heavy guns

The separation of yards from sails requirements will be done in the next content patch (ETA 10-15th april

The ability to lock right or left decks from reloading will also be done in the next content patch (ETA 10-15th april)

Now give me some Rum!

So, basically, easier undercrew on the frigates and more room for prepare boarding if a ship is sailed at proper crew level. Sounds nice.

Dark souls 3 for pc is 11~12

I cant play both games at the same time :(

You don't have to play both games. Come back when you are done with dark souls, NA is still in Alpha anyway.

This sounds great and the screenshots are gorgeous, can't wait!

Will damage be implemented for running aground? Sailor's worst enemy is always the shore in the end :)

Why are crew amount on larger guns going to be lowered?  I tend to under gun for that reason, and under gunning should be encouraged in my opinion.

I'd like to see the numbers. Certain changes might be warranted (18-pdr and 12-pdr crew sizes were often the same).

I was just about to mount 12-pdrs on an Essex because I'm under-ranked.

The reduction will be very slight

I'm really excited about the land in battles. Will be much more depth in battles this way. :)

But will there be depth? :P

I assume that ships can approach within a set distance of the shore and then bounce off?

I'm willing to guess that it will be similar to the shallows mechaninc in OW.
