C Blood Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 So an interesting idea came up on the global chat 10 minutes ago, In light of the Terrible tragedy to hit Brussels may i suggest a full day of peace from down time to down time as a show of respect for all who have lost someone or something. Ideally this would not include OW battles and would be limited to stop all PB's only. 9
Laik Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 I'm sure the victims will appreciate such a show of solidarity. /sarcasmoff
Hugo van Grojt Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 I concur. I, personally, will not participate in any offensive and defensive port battle operations today
Bounty Hunter Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 My thoughts are with everyone affected in Brussels! What a world this has become! We need more love, peace, respect and tolerance! Lets all support this! 1
Arvenski Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 I'm afraid I don't agree. Not out of any disrespect towards the victims or their families and friends, but because the world has gotten so effed up these days that if we had a ceasefire for one tragedy, we'd have to have to have a ceasefire every time something like this happened, which unfortunately means we'd have to have ceasefires every 6 weeks or so. 4
Telfer Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) Fully Agree. A minor action we "don't" take within our sanbox empires which shows our support for those who have already, and are currently still suffering from the horrendous acts of Terrorism and Extremism across the Globe. To all those affected, my thoughts are with you. Edited March 22, 2016 by Telfer 2
wesader Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Agreed, Its feel sad to watch news in this morning cause i was been those places political meetings in EU buildings.
Lytse Pier Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 My guns will be silent for one entire evening out of respect for the victims and their families. My prayers will go to them today.
Baron Quertier Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 I'm afraid I don't agree. I see your point, but then I think. So bit it... If we have to do 1000 times we should still do it, out of respect to every one ever effected by such acts. A truce for atleast 24 hours sounds like a great idea. 2
mouse of war Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 I agree - yes the world is full of tragedy - but let us show, even just this once that we can stand together. Show that we do give a damn I will pass the word in Brit and Global chat 1
mouse of war Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Suggest we choose a day - perhaps at the weekend
Scout Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 I do agree sad day for us all my best wishes to all that are effected.

Ah, every 6 week ? That would not be too much i think, but if you were more informed you would know that there are attempts every single day (or almost) so in this case that would be disappointing, to be in a permanent ceasefire. But what is one day of cease fire every 6 week ? nothing...but i see your mentality. Edited March 22, 2016 by Pugwis 1
thp Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 I agree, and thank you all for your solidarity, not many people know but I m living Brussels. 2
