Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 I would assume if they had them historically, they'll have them here too.

OlavDeng2 Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Looking at the one screenshot of the grosse ventre we have, i cant see any chasers on her so dont believe she would have any, amsterdam i got no clue on as we havent seen her yet though, but i hope so as id love to use the merchant ships as privateers xD
Cragger Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 I would assume if they had them historically, they'll have them here too. Wouldn't be a good assumption. Many ships in the game carried chasers at some point in their time and don't in the game. Or they are horribly and incorrectly placed like the Cerberus. Armament on wooden ships wasn't a fixed thing and many navies left it to their commanders as to how best arm their ships. Some would have railings cut for stern chasers on the quarter deck, etc. if their mission was to go somewhere and avoid engagements. If their mission was a raiding cruise bow chasers would be fitted. Nothing prevented them other then having to secure the spritsail and yard.

I wish I remembered the crew capacity for each.
