Port battles and Surrendering

You shouldn't be able to respawn in a port with a battle on course, right now it's as easy as to go there in a cutter and surrender when you get caught in battle. As it stands now there is absolutely no reason to blockade anything.

I'm not quite sure what you're saying can you or someone else reword it?

Going to a port battle in a cutter > finding the port blockaded > getting thrown into battle > surrender as soon as you can > Pop inside the port > get out in your ship and into the battle.

 

There is no way to avoid that happening, as such it's a flawed mechanic because anyone can avoid a port blockade.
