So i capped a ship and went over to that ship cause my ship was about to sink, I had Marines and i got the boarding prep and it said i had some Marines, but in the boarding action i had no Marines. I hope this will get fixed cause it make sense that they come with u to your new ship.

Also made an bug report ingame.

did u loose Crew before boarding?

if u loose crew before u boarding u loost marines too, i dont think that u can lost all marines, but i dont know about that.

if u board a ship u doent have marines on the Captured Ship, the Marines are an Upgrade and No Upgrade get transfered to the Captured Ship

It would make sense that most of the upgrades dont go with the new ship. But the Marines is almost 50% of the crew on the ship and i got the Marine upgrade to the captured ship i had 90 Marines and i had the boarding prep but no Marines showed up when i boarded. I did not loose crew befor i boarded.

No, that make no sense because you can't change upgrade except in port, also why this particular upgrade will swich and not and not the others ? plus the captured ship have only 1 dura so you don't really want it to take your upgrade.

And if you have a ship with 5 slot and capture a ship with one slot, you espect a management screen to pop up to transfer the desired upgrade ?

If we listen to this theory, that mean you are also fine with letting half of your crew (including marines) in one of the two ship ship that you are not going to control ? because you are not going to abandon a ship without any crew, right ?

If you wan't to make sense do it completly or don't do it, and actually it is good like it is, crew are automaticaly refiled after each battle, there is all or nothing to change.

PS: that is what my first post was talking about, cause title cleary mean that, and the question was finally relevant.

Oo ive think ive been unclear this is still when the battle is going not after. When you are in the battle you board someone and take their ship u wont get your Marines on that new ship in the battle but it shows that you have the Marines in the ui.

If it is intended to be like that u have 200 Marines that goes gun crewing on your new ship in the battle. If you jump in a new battle with the capped ship then it should have the Marines but they should stay in the battle u entered with Marines on your ship.
