As i set sails i appear in water with no ship.

So i "Sail" and i appear on the surface of water with no ship just water, that loops every 1-2mins or so. I have a chat box and thats it. 

 

First time entering the game so not sure if that helps. Have up to date drivers.

Do you have control on what ports are open on your FW?

Captain, there could be a couple of reasons for the issue,

 

1) please, check the general workaround for connection issues:

Please check that router/software is not blocking ports 7770, 8089, 5672, 5222, 8080, 21020-21036, 7401-7600 for the game, also turn off all programs which use internet heavily (like torrent programs, netflix clients), disable antivirus, turn off k9 web protection filter or similar to that filters, also, you can try to put your router into DMZ mode

 

2) Also, there were cases when updating GPU drivers and / or turning graphics to lowest settings on first launching and then turn it back
