Éric Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 (edited) As part of the Old Alliance with Spain, Sweden and Britain, France lost the First War when it surrendered after the Black Friday. During those two weeks of non-aggression treaties, the French Council (CSNF) has been re-considering its diplomatic stances. The CSNF had perceived Britain's attitude towards our common allies RAE as not as conciliatory as it could have been. Once its council was formed, Britain didn't manage to reach a compromise with Spain. The CSNF thinks Britain has been gourmand, where it could have been gourmet. After France announced its neutral stance towards Britain last week, France declares war to Britain ! The CSNF wonders what drink goes best with Fish&Chips. Happy PvP to all Edited March 13, 2016 by Éric 7
Mighty Bouff Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 (edited) lol. France declares relevance, everybody else continues ignoring them. Edited March 13, 2016 by Mighty Bouff 7
Alictos Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Good luck taking ports with a 1 hour and a hlaf to 2 hours travel time 2
Baron Quertier Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 (edited) Les Abaissé obviously isn't involved in this, though it will no doubt face collateral damage. Good luck to all, although I doubt there will be much fighting. Edited March 13, 2016 by Morey 3
Charles Caldwell Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 We never doubted your honour throughout the whole of Black Friday, but to see you now saddens me. Thank god there are some amongst you willing to fight the wrong done to you. Have no doubt France, Britain has stood alone against all odds before, she shall do it again.... Britons never shall be slaves!
Mighty_Alex Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 It wil be a hard war for you with that number of british lapdogs in your nation. And It would have been much easier to wage this war if you hadn't given away your Hispaniola colonies to your former "ally".
Gishank Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 I must say, I'll be mightily surprised, and impressed, if you managed to fight on a front so far away from your home waters.
Rudi Starnberg Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Les Abaissé obviously isn't involved in this, though it will no doubt face collateral damage. Good luck to all, although I doubt there will be much fighting. Well I suppose this resolves any possible doubts as to your loyalty, France or Charles Cadwell's pocket? An easy choice for you it would seem. 1
Charles Caldwell Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Its only a shame that France didn't show the same fighting spirit when the Danes walked through their other Ally the Swedes.... 2
Herminator Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Its only a shame that France didn't show the same fighting spirit when the Danes walked through their other Ally the Swedes.... It's a pitty that the British was too selfish to help their former allies both Sweden and the French instead of trying to take 1 port from the Pirates. 8
Galileus Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Its only a shame that France didn't show the same fighting spirit when the Danes walked through their other Ally the Swedes.... An ally who cheered at us when we faced destruction is not someone to speak of these matters. 1
Johan Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 (edited) I must say, I'll be mightily surprised, and impressed, if you managed to fight on a front so far away from your home waters. Well, this can change quite fast Edited March 13, 2016 by Johan
Baron Quertier Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Well I suppose this resolves any possible doubts as to your loyalty, France or Charles Cadwell's pocket? An easy choice for you it would seem. Ive been regarded as an enemy of France since the surrender. Why should that change because France has now agreed to openly work for Denmark-Norway. It's an interesting turn of events though. 3
CptEdwardKenway Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 I wouldn't wonder if the danes talked you into this bs. If you want to end like spain give it a try. 1
Sir adams william Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Well, this can change quite fast indeed when being the lap dog of the danes
Francis Tabernac Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 (edited) Well I suppose this resolves any possible doubts as to your loyalty, France or Charles Cadwell's pocket? An easy choice for you it would seem. Someone's been gulping down the Kool-aid Edited March 13, 2016 by Francis Tabernac 1
Quineloe Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Its only a shame that France didn't show the same fighting spirit when the Danes walked through their other Ally the Swedes.... The only reason they're doing this is because they think themselves invincible to retaliation due to distance. They're probably going to receive some dummy port from the Danes on Hispaniola.
CptEdwardKenway Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 It's a pitty that the British was too selfish to help their former allies both Sweden and the French instead of trying to take 1 port from the Pirates. Oh excuse us that we couldn't sail 2 hours to help while you felt the need to crush a small nation. And excuse us we were busy on the other side of the map. But your spies already told this to you. You sir are a rat playing a dirty game with the smaller nations. You try to talk every nation to attack us. What a pitty.
Quineloe Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 It's a pitty that the British was too selfish to help their former allies both Sweden and the French instead of trying to take 1 port from the Pirates. Unlike DK-RUS, we're not satisfied with being #2 behind the pirates.
John Quilliam Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 There was even a truce? Thing we have known from history though, France is great at hosting invasions. cya soon chaps
Galileus Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 You try to talk every nation to attack us. To be fair, it was mostly British own doing. You guys cheering and clapping when we were slaughtered helped a lot.
Erik Eriksen Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 (edited) Unlike DK-RUS, we're not satisfied with being #2 behind the pirates. And there lies your problem, we are happy with having mutual beneficial agreements for both parties, big or small. Edited March 13, 2016 by Erik Eriksen 1
Quineloe Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 And there lies your problem, we are happy with having mutual beneficial agreements for both parties. Yep, you're striking deals with lawless pirates. This surely won't come back to bite you. Any nation that makes alliances with pirates can hardly be considered a nation of honour and lawfulness at this point. OOC: Apparently the majority of the players are more than happy with the current state of the pirate nation as a sovereign nation and not actually being "pirates", no matter what they vote in the polls and post in the threads. 1
