Captain Tylor Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 (edited) .....? crafting is so boring and labour hours really limit what you can do Edited March 13, 2016 by Captain Tylor
OlavDeng2 Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Sail around, do pvp, port battles, privateering, chill around, the opportunities are endless! 3
xAzDKr Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 This is what happens when you rush your way to the top instead of having fun along the way 22
Johan Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 I do it the slow way, try to enjoy all the ships and try to build all of them by myself. Well I fear I'll never get past Super-Frigates that way but its OK to me. 1
Powderhorn Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 ... try catching up on the outside world...? 4
Vllad Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 .....? crafting is so boring and labour hours really limit what you can do I hope you don't play on an PVP server with a question like that. 1
Admiral 8Q Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Try sailing around at maxed-out rank and engage in battles with a basic cutter, that wouldn't be boring.
ObiQuiet Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Start arranging fleet battles, and work on fleet tactics? 1
Long Beard Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Is this a trick question? Go have some fun. Play the game, PVP. What else you looking for? 3
Admiral 8Q Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Is this a trick question? Go have some fun. Play the game, PVP. What else you looking for? I think it's the concept to "level up". Like Zelda and Final Fantasy. Just keep bonking things over and over with the goal to reach the max XP level and have the biggest weapons.
Chustler Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Start enjoying all the Pvp and RVR on offer. It's a game...enjoy playing it. 5
The MetaBaron Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 ......I don't even feel bad for people that only play games to "win" them by grinding as fast as they can to the top rank. 2
Hyperion74 Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Get back in a snow and pick fights with others or beat up NPC's. Like everyone else, just have fun.
Jeheil Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 You have won the internet congratulations. Your next challenge.....try it as a pirate on PvP
Tindahbawx Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Pretty much what everyone else has said, get shooting the enemy players.
sacapus Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 There's more content on the way, just be patient... There's tons on thing to do in the meantime, remember, its an Alpha. My son is like this, race to the top as fast as possible while missing tons of content on the way up...
hitem Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 I reached max rank 3 weeks ago and i do not understand your question. Thats when the fun began for me.The game is not dictated by what level you have. its an open world so its all up to you how you spend your time - if you aint enjoying it, you are doing something wrong.
Slamz Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Step 1) Try to forget that you are high rank. Step 2) Get into an exceptional fir Snow or Surprise with speed upgrades. Step 3) Open world PvP. You may be tempted to roll out in your best possible ship, possibly with a crew of people in their best possible ships, but if you want actual quality PvP, you will find more of it in ships like Snows and Surprises. If you roll out with 10 Victories, nobody will fight you (because most of them can't) but I guarantee you'll find some takers if you run around in a Snow or Surprise, and they're good PvP ships liable to be able to escape ganks if you understand the wind-angles-by-ship-type problem. Basically go do what you should have been doing all along.
Vllad Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 .....? crafting is so boring and labour hours really limit what you can do This guy is an example of the wrong kind of player playing a game he has no business playing. If you have to ask this question then you might as well quit now. This is an RvR pvp game. If your entire existence in game isn't build around that concept then I don't get why you are even playing this game. If you are on a PVE server I guess I could get your point but I suggest you quit that PVE server right away and join a PVP server. That is what this game was meant to be. 2

To be honest crafting is boring, it's a low skill time sink activity at best. You don't see dozens of YouTube vids on the excitement of trading and crafting do you( outside of tutorials). Almost all vids revolve around combat and a few on OW travel. So who's fault is it that players get the wrong impression.
