Temp issues again

The patch that dropped today seems to have brought back GPU temp issues for my rig.

 

I had the issue back in the day, and it was alleviated to an extent pre patch.  I had to turn off all AA to get temps to stabilize, which I did not need to do pre patch.

 

My GPU is a 970

 

EDIT: It's not dangerous heat, it's just a lot more than it was before.

My suggestion is to turn up the fan speeds or lower the gpu clocks with msi afterburner if you are really concerned about temps and dont mind louder noise or loosing a bit of performance.

Temperature problems are ALWAYS on your end. Performance problems might be on game's end - like using 100% of your GPU where it doesn't need to. Making sure your GPU doesn't burn at 100% load is your end.

Well, well, if you want max performance in games you want your GPU to always be at 100%, if it doesnt sit at 100% you know there is a bottleneck somewhere

they were reset and might need readjustments

When I come out of port there are no trees on land, and when I adjust my AA Settings the trees reappear.  I'll look at things on my end, but I havn't changed anything in my system since the last patch.

Probably related to the fps hit. I'm experiencing about a 20 fps drop, and a clan mate is now experiencing his pc shutting off. The only common link is a change in this patch (more demand on gpu?).

Hopefully it works out for you, and that dev's pinpoint the area needing attention.
