victor Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 (edited) My personal opinion is that the point that raises the OP is another one (and comes before and above the single improvements that can be added or not to the game): a very good idea of game (and a very good combat system) may need MORE RESOURCES to grow - in a suitable timeframe - from a nice indie alpha project into a great MMO and RvR success game. In gaming business, it's a matter of time vs resoruces invested in the develpoment, since good ideas tend to generate interest in the competitors. And the interest of competitors tends to generate "clones". And a fast developed clone by a major developer could eat the market of an indie project very quickly. I think that the "flu issue" should have shown something important to the devs, but more under the profile of business than under the profile of the game developing. Edited March 9, 2016 by victor
