TheSlickOne Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 I keep getting this error every time I start the game. It pops up in red while loading and the client re-starts and works fine afterwards. Same for x64 or x86 clients. Only happens on one of my machines. I tried reinstalling the game and it comes back after a few starts. Anybody has a clue what this is? Thanks!
Prater Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Do you have a screenshot? Make sure steam is running. Make sure steam is up to date.
TheSlickOne Posted March 3, 2016 Author Posted March 3, 2016 Well, of course Steam is up to date and running. The problem is this error flashes so quickly and then the client just restarts that I can not really take a screenshot of it. Maybe I'll try video recording with OBS and grab a frame. It's been happening for a month or more now. Now that I tested it again it seems to not occur with the x86 client. I've installed the game on 3 other machines and have not seen this error.
TheSlickOne Posted March 3, 2016 Author Posted March 3, 2016 Got lucky and was able to record the error. Posted to YT here: Error is visible at 0.07

Thanks! The issue might be in antivirus/firewall and stuff like settigns as well, could you try to check the general workaround for connection issues: Please check that router/software is not blocking ports 7770, 8089, 5672, 5222, 8080, 21020-21036, 7401-7600 for the game, also turn off all programs which use internet heavily (like torrent programs, netflix clients), disable antivirus, turn off k9 web protection filter or similar to that filters, also, you can try to put your router into DMZ mode If this won't help, please send report through Steam Launch option "Report Connection Test" and post report name here (it will look like NAS-XXXX) P.S.: You do not need to turn completly off your firewall and antivirus and other programs like that, if the issue is about them, you then need to make settings that allow you to play NA, how to change settings is usually desribed in program's help sections. Also, the general workaround for the issue is to relogin to Steam (or reload it)
