Capt Nathan Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 I last was online last night grinding missions and crafting chat was working when i logged off, i came back on today to find i now cant chat in any chat box? some say its a chat ban but for what and why and by who i feel if i have been chat banned i at least should be told why as i have done nothing to justify one. in game name Capt Nathan, eu pvp 1.
Ink Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 It is a 1 day chat ban. Slavery is an extremely sensitive topic, which has both historical and modern-day examples. We agree that slavery played a significant part in history, however, due to the nature of the subject, Game Labs has decided not to include slavery or slavery related activities/items in the game. As such, the following policy is adopted: 1. Slavery, slaves, images of slaves, or allusions to slavery shall not be allowed on the forums, except; 2. Recognizing that slavery played a significant role in the history of the Age of Sail, slavery may be discussed in the History forum only, must be directly related to slavery with regards to the Age of Sail, and only using respectful and tasteful images and terminology. 3. Distasteful, or disrespectful discussions of slavery, slaves, or allusions to slavery shall not be allowed within game chat. 4. The determination of what is respectful and tasteful will be made solely by moderators or Game Labs employees. Their decisions on whether or not to allow the content are final.
