Wilhelm von Bromme Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 I discovered a weird and super annoying bug, leaving my brand new purchased Renomee basically more or less useless: Whenever I zoom full in to sail in "1st Person view", my view begins to flip around and zoom back out up to behind the rudder or flip downwards onto the men at the cannons. I can't get it to properly zoom in and stay, like with all the other ships. I'm not able to take a video and a screenshot obviously wouldn't show the issue, so I''m hoping this is enough info, if not, feel free to reply or PM me.
M G Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 I've reported this bug before, in fact early on in Ow testing. Hopefully it'll get sorted at some point, as it does render the Renomee very difficult to sail for us "On the deck 1st person view" types. 2
Jan van Santen Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 I use Renomees for trader hunting and have the same issue. Only way to get out of this seems to switch to aiming mode, else the camera returns to that weird flipping mode. I have not seen this on any other ship, it seems peculiar to the renomee.
Wilhelm von Bromme Posted February 26, 2016 Author Posted February 26, 2016 (edited) Uff. So glad I'm NOT the only one with this! And yeah figured that way with the aiming mode but meh that can't be the solution, I'm a "1st person sailor" and this is not sailable like that. Bluntly, I will probably now resell my reno and keep my surp, where I hear it has been reported multiple times for a long time and, obviously, nothing has happened, yet. To me, I can't sail that way and since it's only the reno... sighs.. I'll toss it away now. Wish they would address this issue asap, I find that a major bug. Thanks for the replies, guys! Ink Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 This is a known issue and will be fixed in a next patch 1
SKurj. Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Thanks this one has been bothering me as well.
Wilhelm von Bromme Posted February 29, 2016 Author Posted February 29, 2016 "A" next patch or "The" next patch? :-) I am happy to hear it is being addressed, as I actually loved the reno, and I'm eager to buy one again once the bug has been fixed.
