racketyjack Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 I understand that you can have a fleet until you are first Lt. or there abouts. But I see top tier ships and higher commanders all the time in fleets. What gives? Are these ships they built themselves? It would be nice if we could use our fleet escorts when we are on a trading mission to also carry some of our goods. Or maybe take command of any of the fleet under our command if we wish in a battle. Just trying to think of ways to make the fleet more useful, just a thought.
Reyvar Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 You can keep using any you bought at low rank until they sink 5 times.
racketyjack Posted February 26, 2016 Author Posted February 26, 2016 I understand about durabilities. But what about the upper tier fleets I see sailing around?
racketyjack Posted February 26, 2016 Author Posted February 26, 2016 Really? Wow, so players only have one ship after that eh?
kitsunelegend Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Really? Wow, so players only have one ship after that eh? You could always team up with other players and have them as a fleet. In fact, just last week I saw an 8 player fleet sailing around the northern part of the map on the PVE server. I'm pretty sure they were in the same clan and teamed up, due to most of them actively trying to stay near each other while sailing. Was....quite impressive honestly. The best part, is they were all pretty large ships. A few Surprises, a Constitution, a Mercury or two, and a couple Frigates.
Mighty Bouff Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Big player fleets hunting AI art pretty common. We had 12 at one point last night (which is too many really). 3rd Rate, Consti, few trincos, frigates and a smattering of smaller stuff
