Justme Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 I had a player try and convince me in private chat that being a good trader and crafter actually takes more skill over PVP. Can someone please explain how when all they are is time sinks?
Galileus Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 If someone tells you in private chat he likes red more than yellow will you make a topic expecting an explanation too? This is a discussion fit children in a sandpit that have no concept of unquantifiables. SIGH. 1

Can someone please explain how when all they are is time sinks? He just showed you that he would not be one of the "skilled eco-PVP" players he alludes to. He should know that you need an economy the size of EVE with a central market with volume to make that happen. NA probably never will have. One thing is the central market, another thing is the split servers we're on due to deliberate game design and technology limitations. I'm glad NA is designed with fighting placed front and center.

Not really, but we got the Econ only guys who are trying to kill the PVP aspect of the game by making it 3/4ths Econ vs PVP. 1
Leviathan Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Trading/Econ and PvP are entirely different skill sets so debating and comparing them seems like a futile effort. No offense to the OP but I don't see much positive coming from this topic by letting it continue. 4
