Shihawk Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Hi Everyone, I've recently bought naval action but when i try to play I get this horrific blue artifacting comin from the water, ive tried it on low and high graphical settings and its exactly the same. I have tried other games including War Thunder and this doesnt happen so It's not the graphics card. I have attached an image of the artifacting. My system Specs are as follows: Operating System - Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1 CPU - Intel Pentium G3258 @ 4.30GHz 46 °C RAM 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 698MHz (9-9-9-27) Motherboard - ASUS H81M-PLUS Graphics - 2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7850 (Sapphire) If anyone can think of any possible causes or solutions to this problem I would greatly appreciate your input. Cheers, Shihawk
OlavDeng2 Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 1. do you have the latest drivers? 2. have you tried reinstalling naval action? 1
Shihawk Posted February 23, 2016 Author Posted February 23, 2016 yes i have the latest drivers ,but no i did not try a reinstall , do you think that could solve it ?
Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 yes i have the latest drivers ,but no i did not try a reinstall , do you think that could solve it ? Possibly. Your FPS is pretty low - what settings are you running the game on? Try reducing to low and see if they go away.
Ink Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 If reinstall didn't help, please, try to set Compatibility with Windows 7 on the both client.exe and client_,exe files (here \SteamApps\common\Naval Action), as it is the general workaround for those visual bugs. Another workaround is to turn CrossfireX off, but it is not your case
BramtheDutch Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Are you playing on an Asus laptop, I have the same when I try to play on that one maybe that would be it, solved by only playing on my pc but I don't know if this is an option for you?
