MICHKA Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Sorry folks - my virus scanner (G Data) find a adware virus! Win32.Application.Amonetize.D Engine B in your file Ultimate General Gettysburg.exe I let my antivirus software delete that file. I try to check all files via steam file check. After that check - steam replace this lack file. But, after a new scan, my antvirus software find again the same adware! Any comments ? 1
MICHKA Posted July 3, 2014 Author Posted July 3, 2014 Well guys, after a complete check of my pc with different antivirus and malware software clients and from a av host... and a deinstall- and reinstall from my virus protection Software G Data TP I don´t find nothing more! I reinstalled again Ultimate General without any problems. My thoughts about this strange problem... maybe it was a failure in the virusdatabase after softwareupdate, who I do yesterday in the evening. Don´t know exactly.. But now it´s all ok! Well, if the admin want he can delete this thread or he can let it for information to other useres. thx. By the way ... Ultimate General is a great game and I like it very much
Husserl Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 No problem MICHKA. While the anti-viruses try to increase their effectiveness in detecting new, unknown threats, they often produce false alarms.
