I've been playing daily on US 1 since the 4th, and i absolutely love it. The game is very immersive and the community is outstanding at times. I know many people complain about toxic players, but it is bound to happen from time to time.

For example, just last night i fought two pirates, who to no surprise were looking for traders to ransack. Being part of his majesties navy would not stand for this, and took them on. In my lone Cerb i fought a snow and a Niagara until i was to the point of sinking and they werent far off. At this point they asked me if my ship was worth anything, and i told them that yes, it was an exceptional, but i planned to fight to the death. At this point they said that i had fought hard and they would let me live, as i knew i would die if the fight went on. These two men, honest to their word, let me live to fight for his majesty another time.

Yes. There is toxicity in this game, and there will be toxicity in every game for all time, but that doesnt mean that the game isnt fun as it is. I can't wait to see what the future holds as the developers push us onward into new territory.

Nice story . O7

As a dirty rotten pirate myself i usually see it from the other side. Hey who are these guys bothering me at work lol. But even a pirate will let someone go. I did yesterday after i chased down and had a long fight with a brit and sunk him i then went about my way and later jumped into a fight with another brit and aftee a few shots realized his name , felt bad and told him to have a nice day and sailed off.

Ive met no real jerks yet and only had some friendly banter batted back and forth exept 1 brit guy who was not a pleasant oerson.

Yesterday, playing as Britain, I was raiding contraband traders. In one instance I attacked a trader to capture it. (Like usual) Then a player from the French nation joined my battle on my side with a much larger ship. He sat there and watched for a bit but never engaged the target. After he saw I had everything under control, he left the battle to let me have the trader. Very honourable of him. I wish I had wrote down his name so I could compliment him later.
