Allow the use of the bell in OW, restricted to friends list, group & clan members only.

Hello captains and Dev's ,

 

There is one thing i'd like to see in game for when i meet players i know : i'd like to manually use the bell like it is possible to do in a battle instance.

 

Of course if this was possible at any time in the OW it will lead to a massive and annoying spam of ringing bells, so the simple solution is to make it possible to be heard only by the guys in your friends list or the ones in you current active group or even the guys from a same clan, maybe also add an option so it can be disabled for those who don't want to hear it even under those restricted conditions.

 

 

While in the OW i'd like to be able to ring the bell when i cross the path of a guy i know instead of having to send him a pm saying "hey i'm on you six " , it will also serve when sailing with another guy in the OW and both using 2 different ships not going at the same speed , and instead of having to send to the chat " slow down please " or "look at your trajectory, you're deviating "  because he is looking forward and around him or who knows alt tabbed for a minute during longer trips, he will just hear the bell and notice me.

 

Making the bell possible to be heard only by people on your friends list, on your group or in your clan while in a certain radius perimeter from you will avoid the massive spam for our ears something like this will turn in if it was possible for all in the OW. It will be extremely useful in game to just say a little "hi" or use as sound signal when navigating with someone.

 

Don't know how hard it will be to make it possible but it will be really nice in the OW to have such possibility, well that's what i think, maybe others will have a different opinion on this.
