The only thing I'm not really liking is the de-masted repair at sea. I have not seen a lot of de-masting yet because i'm still low level, but if there is a lot of this going on then maybe it is too easy with current game mechanics. Replacing masts during battles is getting too far away from battle realism IMO. These ships normally would require a port or at a minimum several days to replace a mast! I have attached a link of Victory having a mast changed to get some idea of the work & time involved.

I've also watched some youtube vids of guys de-masting NA ships and I think it's entirely too easy. With pitching waves and the inaccuracy of these cannons, it would not be an easy thing to target the mast so accurately! I think de-masting should be a rare occurrence rather than routine.
