How to play as different nation

How to play as different nation I play as british on pve,    How would 1 play say as American on pvp 2 usa server ( since I think this ability is patched in ) It won't let me create a new charcter for pvp

you use the same charter i believe on the other sever with the same rank but you start out new with a cutter or redeemable ships.

Once you have created another character, I assume you can move between these two characters/servers whenever you please?

Log into the correct server. Delete your charachter and roll the one you want. You will have your xp but no money or ships.

Obiously take care and do not delete yourself on your main server.

if you are leveling on another character it doesnt add to you xp gain on the second does it?

So if I  log into pvp 2 usa server and delete my chracter  and create a new 1 under a new nation

Then will I be able to still have my british charcter on pve along with all the gold , my ships etc and xp

Careful.  There is a sticky note that deleting a character deletes it an ALL servers.  XP is shared but assets (gold, ships, etc) and learned blueprints are not.

As it is now, you can only have one character. If you switch nations or servers, everything except xp/rank (and crafting level, I think) is erased.
So far you can't have multiple characters. So chose your server and nation well.

It's not true I have 2 charachters. YOUR EXP IS YOUR STEAM ACCOUNT. All charachters xp are the same and if you raise one you are raising the other one too. You do not keep boats though or gold. I had to do level 3 missions in a cutter to earn money.

In theory you can have ONE character on EACH server as the rules stand.

Total of 4 charachters spread over 4 servers.

It was all explained in the patch notes.

Yep i have 2 chars too . 1 on PvP 2 and 1 on PvP 1 .

Really? I'll try that. Before it didn't work.
