lost ship in battle

Im wanted to capture Traders Brig with fleet Pickle.

I (Niagara-Golden Marines,Boarding parties-blue,swordfight handbook-blue,Grog ration-blue) and my fleet Lynx

I boarded and captured Brig and my Lynx destroyed Pickle

When i left the battle i didnt have my niagara with upgrades and loot (good loot) I didnt with loot nothing

Golden Marines- My friend gave them to me, and he wants it back.

But i havent got ship and upgrades NOTHING ! wtf 

I want my MARINES back

Please, send bug reports every time something strange is happening. It helps devs to look into the issue. Also, please, remember, that at the moment the game is in Early Access stage and such bugs may appear. I hope you will fully recover from the loss of it, Captain

heh thx for help but golden marines is golden marines incoming minum 20 hours of searching

no ship only cutter ! oh yea 

im going to BIG trader expedition at all of FreeTowns

I want to see how long you are searching for golden upgrades (mainly marines)

Except if it is a bug i can see some issue that could have occurred.
You was alone in the battle ? otherwise did you make your ship "available to all" after capture ?
Are you sure that your niagara didn't sunk after the boarding ? if there was leak or so and then you "captured" the trader ship before leaving the battle, your Niagara could have sunk.

Maybe the pcikle exploded ?
Did you sent your ship in an outpost or scuttled it after the battle?

My personal advice is to never switch to a captured ship, you can do it in the loot menu wich is safe, you switch to the trader and send the Niagara to outpost wich is totally safe, and you can carry all the loot on the trader ship.

 

Also there is something strange, i don't understand why the inventory screen is not displayed, the exact same thing occur in a port when you sell the equipped ship, so maybe you did something wrong with your Niagara in the loot menu...

When battle started my Lynx set on fire enemies Pickle and next salvo set him to fireshock. 

Im not alone in battle with my fleet lynx

I boarded brig press x captured and again to niagara X after i left the battle and this problem.

After battle Niagara was lost and only Traders Brig

Fireshock likely means Pickle exploded shortly after
