Ruthless4u Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) There is always teleport to cap lol. Edited February 14, 2016 by Ruthless4u
Benass Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 No y cant. But your damaged trader will not be affected in OW. But if u attacked by others then ,,,,, well its game over for your trader. Normaly once u cap trader, run to closest port for repairs. Then u have better chances making to your destination. 1
'Sharpe Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 OW already has Infinite Sails. What more do you want? You're picking at a very myopic problem. Also, you chose to be a Pirate. Be tough. What would Johnny Depp do?

Be tough. What would Johnny Depp do? Are he's a privater. This is exactly why I never demast fully when I hit a big trader. I'm more worried about getting there crew down and a fast board win. That way if you do get hit by another nation or pirate you have a better chance to run.
walleye Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 I am a little confused by this. I know you can swap ships after a cap. However if, as the OP stated above, you want sail to directly home after battle with the prize ship, why would you just not select the "Send to home port" option from the right click instead of trying to sail it back manually? Sorry for my ignorance if this there is an obvious answer .
GrapeShot Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 (edited) They want the bigger cargo hold of the trader so they don't lose any of the resources they've captured. I think it is a problem as well. I think you should be able to use at least one of your repair kits on a prize. Edited February 18, 2016 by GrapeShot 1

Sorry for my ignorance if this there is an obvious answer . Simple. To keep all the cargo. I've done that many times. Not always sending my fighting ship to the capital, but often to my nearest outpost then sailing the prize cargo ship there myself. Often you can score cargo that is worth far more then selling the captured ship alone. You can also sail the captured ship to a nearby neutral port, free port, or nation port and sell off the goods and/or repair the ship. Or even sell off the ship and get a basic cutter for free to sail back to where your fighting ship is, no charge. Edited February 18, 2016 by Admiral 8Q 1

What would Johnny Depp do? I do believe he would sew up any holes in the sails. With human hair. From his back. 2
