000Major000 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Hello everyone! First let me say, that I bought the game on steam this morning and I realy like it! However, what I think this game realy needs is a couple of tutorial missions. I find it very overwhelming to start the game for the first time and finding myself in a 10,000 vs 10,000 battle. I would love to play some scenarios that have a smaler scale, that teach tactics and how to use the different kinds of units. Also I realy hope, that the final game will provide more historical context of who is fighting where and why. Maybe to most people in the US it is clear, but I live in Germany and to be honest, I have no idea what exactly is going on. I know that the little grey man try to kill the little blue ones and thats about it. Names like Oak Hill, Oak Ridge, Oak river and all the other oaky stuff does not mean much to me. But I would love to learn something about it through playing this game.
Riekopo Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Definitely agree with your post. There really needs to either be a tutorial mission (like maybe on the approach to Gettysburg) or a tutorial mode that can be turned on. And ya, the game devs need to hire a US Civil War historian to help with the game.
