Experience Bugged?

After the recent update I noticed that the Xp went up a lot and the gold, but I noticed that Post Captain now gives me 182 Xp which is 82 xp more than before but Flag Captain gives me 204 xp which is 50 xp more than before... that does not seem right.

XP depends on the ships involved.

The greater the BR difference between the ships in question, the bigger is your XP gain from dmge.

I already knew that but I'm referring to how much the missions are giving me now.

I think he means the xp that the missions now give out rather than the xp accumulated from damage caused to ships.

 

Lord Roberts, it is not a bug (well i assume not), patch notes will probably be put up in due course to explain the increased xp reward from missions and whatever else the developers have done.

Missions dont give you those strange numbers. What you see is the battle XP.

Mission XP is given independantly. rewards are 50/100/150/ etc..

 

Your rank or the mission's rank has no influence on XP.

Its purely BR difference and dmge done.

 

You have to compare shiptypes in battle compared to your own and then you have to compare dmge done.

Make screenshots about that info and post them if you like to. PvE XP was not changed.

The odd part here is that Flag Captain missions before this patch gave 150xp for the completion, now only 204, whilst Post Captain gave 100 and now 184.

Read the Russian patch notes and it seems the Xp was tweaked and so I think the xp rates are normal now.
