Wolfar Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 I have looked around before I posted this. If it has been brought up before sorry I missed it. After capturing a ship if you cannot take all the cargo it gets tossed into the ocean. It had the cargo on it when I captured it I should be able to send it back with goods in its hold. Thank you for considering fixing this.
Capt. Rice Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Unfortunately you have to take command of the trader ship if you want all the cargo and send back your ship that you were previously using. But hopefully they will change it.
Tomms123 Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Or you take command of it, load the cargo on it. Send your ship back to your outpost and then set sail to your outpost port or closest port. Sell the stuff or toss the goods in the warehouse. 1
Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 The Suggestion is to allow you to send the ship, with its cargo, back to the outpost without having to sail it there yourself. Overall I like the idea. I think that since you risk getting the ship back to port yourself, there should be some amount of risk in sending it back laden from the end battle screen. 1
Wolfar Posted February 8, 2016 Author Posted February 8, 2016 Thanks for the Idea of sailing it back, I did not think about that. But sometimes I am WAY away from Port Royal and it was easier just to dump the cheap stuff. Henry hit my idea right in the head perfect example. Thank you!
Tremor Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Suggestion : if you have a ship with cargo you are NOT allowed to send it to port. It joins your fleet. So you must drive to a port or risk loosing your trader in the next mission.
