Greeting developers and fellow players!

 

I have played this game near 100 hours and I must say this game is great so far, but also this game need some new ideas and suggestion that I want to bring these up. Some suggestions might be already show up here in forum, but I will give my ideas:

 

1. Missions

- Those "double swords" icon should be colorful (my missions are purple, my teammate's mission are blue and group missions are red)

- Add group missions: I know there are missions, but those mission are not enough equal with player who have mission and group members who are in same party. I would like to add "Group missions" that mission are harder than normal one (Harder mission like more bigger AI ships - More gold and XP, high chance to get loot)

- Even group mates can see your mission locations if they are in same group (To help in navigation)

 

2. Port Battles

- There should be somekind cooldown after port harbor battles is/are finished. If you manage to capture a harbor. There is x hours or x days cooldown and then you can start a new port battle. If defensive side win, then cooldown will appear as well like captured one: x hours or x days. 

-  You can't entry to port battle, if you are invisible and invulnerable. (To prevent hiding if you escape from battle) 

 

3. Faction balacing

- If your faction is much smaller (with few harbors compare to other nation) they should have more faster and bigger XP/Gold/resource gaining in %.

- Limits player numbers on Nations. Example: Britain, France, Danmark-Norge (because RUS huge player community) have very big player community that can steamroll any other nation that has much smaller player community. That faction should be locked that smaller nation can gain more players.

- Reworking Nation difficulty (more starter harbors for small nations if server wipe happen?)

- If nation changing will happen. Player is allow to change to other nation if have nation have not reached to limited player number and have a week cooldown to change a nation again.

 

4. Resources

- Resources producing should be faster. Right now most nation have lack of oaks, fir etc... because a lot people does crafting and need resources to craft. (Seem there will be building mechanic incoming)

 

5. Battles

- I dislike when I am doing my pve mission as solo, but suddenly enemy player ships comes to destroy my mission totally (1 vs 3 + bot) that is ridiculous unfair! If allies are not allowed to entry to my mission, then why enemies should come in then if I can't get any allies? Forbid enemy players comes to your pve mission too if you forbid allies too. If you do mission in group, then enemy players are allowed to come in. All other ideas is still open.

- Add hooks when you are pulling enemy and boarding to battle.

- Crew should look like that they are fighting each other when boarding battle is going. Not doing that reloading gun animation all time.

 

6. Others

- Does ship armors, crew numbers, sail % gets reduces if ship is on fire? Haven't noticed changes when I have set enemy to fire.

 

I will add more here, when I will get more ideas.

I agree with most if not all of the above. Except resources, because Im not sure the last changes of making iron super easy to get did anything but ruing the economy really.

 

The worse thing that can happen to this game and its economy would be if all of the resources became easy to obtain and too common. its the lack of resources that gives them value and forces the smart and good traders to travel to distant ports to find and get resources others dont realize exist.

 

But with resources becoming something players might be able to produce later on, I feel its so far from finished anyways.
