Cmdr Thrudd Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 (edited) The port info seems to be stored locally. This makes no sense. I had to do a reinstall and lost all my port data..over 120 ports!. Edited February 8, 2016 by Cmdr Thrudd
SKurj. Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 used to be post around that showed you what to save in the event u needed a reinstall in regards to this.. not sure where it is anymore.
tnliverpool Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Do we know if this is intended or not? I knew this was coming as I was recently trying to play the game on my work laptop and noticed this. Now that I have my new computer I am still bummed that all my port info is gone, especially with the new update and outposts. Seems silly to me that this data be stored locally.
Capt. Rice Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Yea my ports were still saved after closed beta....I still had the info of the ports i went to...when i first started open access
Prater Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 It doesn't matter anymore since they released api today. Once the external maps are updated, you will know everything about a port and everything it has in stock, how much it produces and how much it consumes.

[MCC] Die Antwoord Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 does it show current prices as well? The API files are updated once a day on maintenance so the values are not live, but max 24h old.
Ink Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 The current workaround (thanks goes to Captain Toothless Jack ) is: Files you need can be found here: C:\Users\olduser\AppData\LocalLow\Game_Labs\Naval Action ( make sure that in folder 'Users' you set in options Show hidden files, folders and drives. You can copy all files/folders in there but for map markings you need file that starts with AD189... (at least that what it was on my computer) File type ' Data Base File'. Than go to your new users same folder: C:\Users\newuser\AppData\LocalLow\Game_Labs\Naval Action and paste. Make sure your game is off.
Long Beard Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 (edited) That will explain why ports I visited show that I hadn't visited them! I think CCleaner may wipe this out. Edited April 24, 2016 by Long Beard
