  1. we didn't see this coming /s but in all seriousness this is a problem. I just wish we could purchase flags like in the old days instead.
  2. obviously the solution is to ban all chatter in game. no longer will anyone be allowed to talk - MMOs don't need conversation at all, it's bad in the end (/s)
  3. I'll admit, while at first it seems frustrating, this is exactly what I was hoping for when we originally tried to get battle sails to be the standard for fighting. I dislike a lot of the current aspects of the game, but I'll give credit to adding some good additions to the battle mechanics in instances. I still feel like you could tone down penetration cannons and thickness on ships by 30-40% though, I don't know why we have kept increasing the numbers. Perfecting your sailing in battle may be important, but I still honestly think the core aspects of the "MMO" part of NA are lacking, it still feels like a skeleton. I wish we would go back to the 2016 economy and resource trading lifestyle, then adjust it with some QoL improvements.
  4. you are also neglecting to mention your Russian friends made that "vibrant war" a joke. nonetheless, we made an agreement and both sides seemed tentatively content with the outcome.
  5. An agreement was made.
  6. I mean, am I wrong though? we all hate how it is setup currently.
  7. fact is, the game has turned to such an extraordinary grind that no one wants to lose a valuable "crafting port." outcome is, no matter which nation, people have and will stop playing due to high developed ports being taken. ...tl;dr honestly this is seriously a "blame the devs" scenario. We told the devs we hated the hostility grinding and the mechanic abuses (exploits) that happened. We wanted less grind. so instead we change it to "different grind" and it's even worse. congrats guys, we played ourselves.
  8. Spicy, I've missed this Drama.
  9. I really don't need to add more... this is everything that needs to be said.
  10. fair point - I just dislike how random it is. I wish there was a better indicator so players could be more prepared instead of scrambling for....PvE content.
  11. imagine nassau patrol zone limited it to 6th rates. what a time to be alive.
  12. I even recall the BR limits were changed to account for AI raider Br discrepancy because the "Pavel" fleets were 600 BR over, which was the change from 10,000 to 10,600 BR. Or am I wrong? obviously a feature that players love and enjoy.
  13. by that logic - there are ports with literally no investments that haven't been raided yet....
  14. I thought we accepted and praised them going away, so the fact that they are back and we are forced to accept AI port battles is, in my opinion, ridiculous. ...anyway...
  15. Personally... I would have thought working on a better alliance mechanic would be a lot more enjoyable and rewarding for players than to restrict and make it harder to PvP...
