    I never claimed to be Lord Nelson himself. In fact: I really didn't know anything about sailing and I still know very little. The video was put up because of the scale of the battle, not it's quality. But thanks for your kind advice.

    I didn't say that there was no German navy at all. I said "at the time" (the game will take place in 1800(?)A.D.). At the very beginning of the 18th century the Prussian navy was disbanded and all of the colonies were sold to the Netherlands. But I guess the Hansa doesn't fit the time frame of the game as well, so we might have to be a bit creative. Habe die Ehre Rosenau P.S.: Für die nächste Amazon-Bestellung ist "Krieg unter Segeln" gleich mal in den Einkaufswagen gerutscht. Danke für die Empfehlung!

    Ich hätte großes interesse daran einen Verbund auf die Beine zu stellen. Da die Entwickler (und ich selbst) großen Wert auf historische Korrektheit legen, kann es wohl keine ,,Marine" oder ,,Armada" unter dem Banner eines deutschen Staates geben, da (meines Wissens nach) keine deutsche Großmacht zu jener Zeit großen Wert auf eine große eigenständige Flotte gelegt hat. Ich dachte mir aber, dass man so etwas wie die Hanse oder Die Emder Ostasiatische Handelskompanie zum Vorbild nehmen könnte. Habe die Ehre Rosenau

    As a German myself I'm sorry to tell you that Prussia didn't really have a navy back then. But maybe we could create something like the continuation of the Hansa.

    Servus Herrschaften, in another forum thread I saw all kind of "groups/navies" of various nationalities. (http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/1734-list-of-posted-naval-action-groupsnavies-updated-jan-9-2015/) Although no major German nation had something like a navy (that could compare with the British, French, etc.) in that period of time, maybe there are people who are interessted in such an organisation for German sailors.
