I dismast most of the time (if I am using med or long range guns) prior to boarding a ship. It REALLY slows them down and they have a hard time turning away from you when you are trying to board. Taking the rudder out helps too.

opps! I meant the type with one "K" of course...not two "K"s, those are quite all right.

It means Battle Rating. All ships have a battle rating. If you see a battle going on in the open sea and if you hover your mouse over the crosses swords, you can usually see the combined Battle Rating of the two combatant fleets.

Ya...those swords are pretty hard to see even if you are off on your course by just a few degrees. Thats why I try to find the closet bit of land and then set a course from there.

GEEZ...The fog is crazy! Has anyone ever been to the Caribbean much? Is it always like that? I have been to San Juan PR a few times but I dont ever remember seeing any fog like that.

I agree.It would be nice. HOWEVER...I just hope it would not turn into trade channels like other games. People just being obnoxious and using it as general chat. Then it's just a wast of time.

Same here..I agree with SOME of what the OP says. I wouldn't be opposed to the missions have a little more flavor. The trader runs he suggested sound kind of fun too. Or like Viziam said create some PvP missions. And I like Robaroo's mission ideas too. HOWEVER, the xp and rewards are fine "as is" I think. I remember PotBS had missions like this too. They were fun with a group.
