It’s obvious that you did not read my post.

NOBODY is crewing a 3rd rate right out of the gate... they gotta have the rank/crew numbers and the lower level DLC ships help them in getting that rank... I seriously doubt that someone who is fully crewed in a 3rd rate DLC doesn’t have a fair level of experience in this game. The difference is if that casual loses his DLC he isn’t financially ruined and forced back to 6th rate ships for days or weeks... he’ll be back for you to sink next redeem cycle. And having more people to sink is bad how??

I totally disagree with your point. I feel DLC makes the game more healthy. It allows the casual player access to higher level fights. That’s good! It decreases the fear of losing your one and only high level ship, thus encouraging more fights. That’s good! It gives the hardened vets more guys to sink because there’s more fights... That’s good!! Hopefully that casual that’s playing more because of DLC... expands their gameplay to more deeper into levels getting more involved in more parts of game, thus getting more people in the game... that’s good!! More people playing this game is a good thing. High level ship fights are more fun and everyone wants to get in on that... why exclude the casual player??? Making a class of ship (1-3 rates) an exclusive club only will cause more people to leave and spend their gametime somewhere else where they can be competitive...

Reading this thread I got a tune in my head... ... it’s the end of Bellona as we know it and I feel fine... anyone... anyone?!?! Is this thing on???

I like the DLCs. Great ships and as a way to payback the devs for this great game. I’ve bought every one except the Req & Leopard... but because of this post I’ll be buying the Leopard... Keep it up with the negativity and I’ll be forced to buy the Req too...

Thank you very much admin!!! -
Liking the Rattv just fine!! It’s a good ship! Not liking sailing it undercrewed but it’s all part of the game! My choice, my fault...

Same here. Cannot join war server. Tried 5 times. Stuck on loading screen. Also experienced wicked bad ping since patch 31. 123- 2100 ping. Multiple kicks from game last night while trying to help screen pirates from their exploit PB at St Marys.

Patch 31: Port investments, new hostility and preparation for release
Diceman replied to admin's topic in Patch notes
Another rant... no solutions... just insults and average ones at that... This patch is barely 2 full days old and you pronounce judgement. You’ve hardly played in 5 months and you pronounce judgement. You don’t follow your own advice and research others earlier posts before pronouncing judgement. DLC is a good thing. The Devs only promised a very few ships in the beginning. They’ve way more than over delivered on that promise!!! And you still complain. There’s NOTHING wrong with them getting paid. I feel they’ve earned and deserve it. I will always support the devs financially when given the opportunity... they’ve earned it. DLC don’t break the game. They do give the casual a better incentive to sail out and engage when they otherwise might think twice before risking their precious crafted meta ship they’re saving for a PB. The only negative to the economy in my view are these artificial controls and restrictions on ship building (permits and such) that strangle the small nations, clans and solos. Lift the restrictions and economy will boom. More ships being built will lead to more ships being sunk. More PvP is a bad thing?? More ships built and put up for sale hurts the economy how?? I have no problem with rare woods being rare.... give the big clans something to fight over other than hurt feelings. As a solo crafter who is limited in what woods I can use, I still have no... zero... 0 problems selling the ships I craft. I build what sells and price competitively. The poor noobs in the game??? Let them watch YouTube. There’s plenty of content to aid the new player and I’ve yet to see a noob in game not get help when they ask in the chat. Now there’s tips/training/and tutorials that fast track them up the rank tree to where they wanna be faster. They are actively recruited by clans. The poor noobs?? I like the current PB rules. I also liked the flag system too, it was fun. I like that you have to campaign across the map! I’m sure it will need a tweak or two but that’s what we’re here for... to help test new things out? Oh... right... you’ve barely played these last 5 months... so basically no one is no help to the game??? -
Patch 31: Port investments, new hostility and preparation for release
Diceman replied to admin's topic in Patch notes
Wasting my time would be sitting here typing an argument to each point in your rant... You stated that you quit playing in November so if that statement is true, I am quite sure you have no clue what the game is like now... You have a list of wants and grievances and you’re gonna beat your drum.... that is boring. Generally, in those type of responses like yours... solutions are offered. You offered none really, just moans... more moans to join the chorus of moans here... Thats what triggered my unkind remark. Help make the game better, moan less and solution more... #solo-life -
Patch 31: Port investments, new hostility and preparation for release
Diceman replied to admin's topic in Patch notes
True. I do love this game!! Best gaming money I’ve spent ever. I play the hardest way, as a solo. I tried a clan but it was meh... I have my views on what’s wrong but rather than constantly complaining and moaning I choose to adapt my game. I make this game fun for me, I don’t sit around with a puffy lip moaning... and wait for someone else to make it fun. You’ll never get anywhere with that attitude! #solo-life -

When no one talks, does anyone listen???? I wonder... Disagree with most of your rant... #solo-life -
Patch 31: Port investments, new hostility and preparation for release

No to this!! Packs of mindless drones sailing all the same meta ships... what a waste. The Borg in sailing ships. Seems to me the solos in this game are the true pirates... #solo-life
