I agree, i originally asked this becuase i was worried this would just be another game that was ruined by micro transactions.

or perhaps, i just thought of this, you could purchase all the way up to the frigate or heavy corvette and then you had to earn the money to buy anything better then that.

yes this is why i brought this up i dont want a micro transaction system. Maybe Accuracy boosts or loot bonuses with real money or cool skins for your ship, but not the ship itslef.

So we will be able to start with the first ship (unless we pre ordered)? and we will have to earn the money through trading and pillaging and such?

Will we have to pay for ships, Because in the pre order menu it says the Yacht is a $20 value and that leads me to believe that we will either have to grind for weeks to get the points to get a new ship, or we can pay 20 bucks and get it right away. just curious.
