Is the Light Cruiser III ever going to get fixed?

Considering how they have patched all other ships that had the same issue to return the lifeboats to purely optical goodies, leaving only this single example (as far as I noticed) behind, I'm very confident that it is not some kind of intended balancing issue. -
Any way to counter-attack minor nations?

When they attacked Montenegro,which has a port, I didn't get a naval mission, to allow me to contribute to the defense, and just putting ships there without the mission didn't do anything. But I suppose the problem was kind of solved in a different way. While I couldn't do anything against Serbia, they have since been completely conquered by Greece, which whom I am allied. No idea if this alliance had anything to do with them deciding to attack Serbia, or if it was just coincidence. -
Playing as Austria-Hungary, I've been attacked by Serbia twice now, one time they took Kosovo from me and another they failed to take Montenegro. Is there any way I can get my country to attack Serbia back? I think attacking me twice and taking one of my occupied provinces is a pretty damn good justification for war.

I've been reporting that on the Light Cruiser III hull (Austria-Hungary, among others), the lifeboats are fixed (i.e. block both putting down modules and restict firing arcs) for years now, both ingame and in the forum, while there was still a feedback thread for each version. Is this hull ever going to get fixed?

If the thread in which you posted it is still open, you can edit the post and remove it there... if it's locked, you're out of luck. I really wish they'd change that...

Step 3.5: Make sure you read the messages about allying with minor countries carefully, so you don't waste your time trying to besiege a country allied with you. Step 3.5 Addendum: If you end up allied with your target, since you have no say in this, make sure to not sell them a single ship and hope that will be enough for them to cancel the alliance in reasonable time. -

I've heard people say that before, but it just doesn't work on my end. I just tested it again right now, in the current 1.4.1.0 Live Optx2 version. I made a copy of my A type ship, and saved it as B. Well, actually "Dinara (<year>) -2" and "Meteor", but lets keep things simple. After building and fully commissioning 4 ships of type B, I made a refit templates for A, and the B ships don't show up in the list of refittable ships. To test things out, I also made a refit of B, were I made some minor changes, and there too only it's own Type B ships show up in the list of ships you can apply the refit to, but not the type A ships. -

Any chance you could stop technologies changing the weight of ship templates? It is very frustrating to design a ship and then have the template rendered impossible to build two month later, because it's suddenly "overweight" and having to copy/paste it with a new name and now having two upgrade pathes to deal with, since I already built a couple of the original design... -

I just got a loading screen text about the German Cöln class cruisers... but at least today the city is written with a K, not a C. Is this some historical development, or just a misspelling? -
Oh hey, I didn't notice this works now. I haven't checked it in ... quite a few patches actually. Thanks. Edit: Unfortunately, that makes it a completely new line of ships, so if you still have some of the original template, you'll need to carry on two refit templates to keep them up to date, which isn't exactly ideal either.

- Splitting of certain provinces to allow accurate borders to the period of the game start. In particular I noticed the lack of South Tyrol, which is currently part of the single province of North Italy and Transylvania, which is part of the sinlge province Romania. As a consequence, the game has ahistorical borders. Unless you start post WW-1, in which case Austria still has ahistorical borders, since it lost it's sea-access and shouldn't even be a playable faction anymore as a consequence in the 1920+ starts.

On the Austro-Hungarian Light Cruiser III, the lifeboats are still fixed structures, blocking the putting down of modules and firing arcs, on both campaign and custom battles. I also reported this ingame. -

I think it would be a sensible idea to have the threshold at which ships surrender from crew-loss lowered for transports. As civilian vessels, with barely or no ability to defend themselves, surely they are less likely to fight to the last man. Transport ships die so fast, that it will probably not make much difference in terms of gameplay, but it'd be a nice touch in term of fluff and realism I think. -
- Being able to regain lost core terrotories in peace treaties. As Austria-Hungary I have lost Slovenia to Russia in a land-invasion, and it never showed up in the list of reparations in peace deals, not for the war in which I lost it (which I won) nor in later wars I won against them.
