  1. PvP grants you more experience and rewards Most of the high level veteran experienced pvp'ers got there through pvp not pve. As for penalizing people for changing nations that I completely agree with.
  2. There really is no point in playing this anymore is there? 1st rate dlc and removing screening? If this happens every nation needs a maxed 55 point port for all port bonuses that everyone in nation can use and the nation cannot lose it. Otherwise again there really is no point in playing anymore.
  3. Lol no if they did that all the other dlc ships would be the weakest ships of their rates. Requin should still be a 5th rate and most of the dlc ships are strong and not the weakest in their rate of ships.
  4. Also need to completely fix the economy to work as a Sandbox economy. Otherwise your "sandbox"(really an mmo arena game) will never pick up with the targeted audience.
  5. No one could agree on how the Alliance system would work it was almost an even 50/50 vote.
  6. The sarcasm is Real. Love it
  7. This game has simply become too ridiculous. The first issue a player faces is this stonewall of making money because the economic model doesnt work for more than 400 players anymore. (We see over 1000 a day now). The second wall is theres this mass of dlc ships which are now outperforming hard grinder crafting ships. And there is LITERALLY no risk for losing them. The third wall is if you dont PvP your literally castrating yourself because pvp earns 4 times that of npc fights and missions. The solutions are to buy ten Russian alts to use the OP economic Russian Bermuda islands to kidds harbour for 2 mil reals a day and around 4k dubs. And buy all the dlc for instantly redeemable ships that ultimately are breaking the game. I took a break the last time i made a suggestion and the results were negatively received. I may take a permanent break now because the game is not age of Sail anymore. it Ocean railroad tycoon mixed with Pub'g in 18th century ships. I dont find it entertaining that way. THIS GAME IS NOT A SANDBOX ANYMORE
  8. Well I like playing the 5th rates that have decent purpose i don't like having one ship fits all gloves Cough *Hercules*
  9. I shall make a prediction.... More players are gonna leave the game...
  10. Word Ill work on some of these ^^ I just havent had this issue before and I have been playing on and off for years
  11. So I tried loading up the game and it grayed out and went to not responding. Sometimes this has happened before so i just waited and it eventually went through. Since logging into the game this has now happened 5 times I swapped main ship to a different ship, I accepted a cargo mission, I left port. So I asked in nation chat if anyone else was having odd loading issues. Instantly had others say they are noticing this problem. I'm not sure what the issue is here but I'm simply making you guys aware it is there.
  12. Alright so 7/11/2019 after the morning update (or whatever time it is for everyone else) I have started the game multiple times. And tried a variety of things. It gets to the point where I select character then a static loading pops up. Usually you see the dots moving real old school but no its blank with loading three dots and sits for ten minutes. Here's the killer computer processes tells me the program is Doing Nothing. How do I fix this and what changed between yesterday and today??
  13. Didn't the Mortar Brig already get Nerfed To Davy Jones?
  14. Beta game been on steam for purchase for 4-5 years now? We aren't testers man, we are the player base. Testers are the people who are allowed to play before the game is put out on public for sale. Don't believe me? Im a veteran Alpha Tester and am currently in Several tests. This is not a test stage game. This game is to most people of the gaming community simply an unfinished game. It's not truly a Beta anymore either. That aside I do love the game and shall continue playing it. Simply correcting someone for a false statement.. carry on.
  15. So I came up with an Idea that could Tag off these factions. Now hear me out here because this is kind of taking other peoples ideas and making a new idea that would work overall, make the game more interactive, and a monthly Event That would promote more gameplay. So First; Make a monthly event call it the Monthly Coalition Event. So this Event will change the Faction alliances each month. With this you get to make an npc leader of each faction that awards Royalty points Ill get to that again in a bit. So the Coalitions theres either 3 or 4 of them but they work as follows. Each month on a specific day the power of ports controlled and players numbers are taken into account the Strongest nation is coalition-ed with the Absolute Weakest. Second strongest with second weakest then the final Coalition is a combination of all those in the middle. What this does is makes the environment for the game change every month. This will in turn make the game more interactive for the players and actually promote the play-ability of the game thus bringing more attention to the game. This will also help to balance things when one Nation gets too powerful they will constantly be hounded by many enemies in alliances against them. Second are the Royalty points. So the Royalty concept give a promotion to those who Stay in Nation. This will also make each nation have a more unique feel to each one. So look at Historical ideas for this. But make a Special Royal ship of each class so a Royal 7th rate 6th etc up to 1st. For staying in a nation each month you get a small amount of royalty tokens. If the player participates in the Above Coalition battles (which will be to change the shape of the map) they Earn Royalty Points or Marks (which was an actual thing in those days good example was a letter of Marque or distinguished) Then make the Royalty ships expensive but have great statistics. So for example 10 royalty marks a month for staying in nation. Then make the 7th rate alone cost like 100 the 1st like 1k so it will take some time to farm it (put a cap on max earn-able royalty points a month as well to like 50-100) now for each faction make the Royalty ships have significant advantages so for example if a gold 1st rate has the best advantages for a crafted ship Each nation has a specific focus. maneuverability, defensive stats etc and maybe change these from time to time so not everyone goes to the British for the damage bonus. So when you buy a royalty ship it would be alike a gold ship only its Focus stat will be higher than a craft-able bonus but only a little bit, it only take one grain of rice to tip the scale. This way Royalty ships are extremely hard to get but Worth it and it also promotes nationality so staying in nation and gives reason for people to play and grind the coalition fights every month. In effect this idea would make the game more interactive to players, Help fix the problems caused by unbalanced nations player base and or power, Give a monthly event that will change the game every month which promoted the games interaction with players, and promote the players who stay in one nation instead of nation hopping all the time.
