  1. Do it now, before it's too late. +1 -1 it makes no difference. Some good points here and should be noted.
  2. It has to be combined server work. In your case let's say capture 25 regions in x time. No matter who did it, as long as requirement is fulfilled all get their reward.
  3. To make this game interesting please consider introducing Community missions on monthly basis. Mission details are posted prior it's start date and time. ex. Sink 10000 NPC ships in 48 hours and receive Thank you Treasure Chest. Chest will drop things starting from 1 random ship - to Fat gold reward. This is server mission with combined numbers from all nations. So, let's say sink 10 000 NPC ships in 48 hours. 5098/10000 shown to all players upon login with remaining timer. These are fun and provide Monthly Thank you rewards to all players if they complete the requirement in time. More content = better experience.
  4. Can't agree more, they need to take few steps back and make this game more fun.
  5. I do not think going and fighting NPC is something that is put into your mouth. It's earned. Player spent time fighting and he should be able to take the ship is he needs it. That same player will then provide you with action and a nice fight. Like I said it before, it's all in Developers hands and I hope they make good decisions on their own and do not follow this forum.
  6. Good for you, but new players struggle to get past surprise. We are not talking about Veteran players like you, we are talking about life and death of Naval Action here. Game has cancer and that cancer is produced by 'hardcore' players who made this game unplayable for the rest of the world. Sometimes you have to allow changes that would support game population and it's health.
  7. Once you sink, it's a very long and painful road to get back into your favorite ship. It could take the whole week for 1 account to restore everything lost. Not many like it, so with free NPC capture time to go back into pvp is reduced. Not only that people will feel more comfortable knowing they can quickly get into a ship they like and start sailing again. providing more targets and action on OS. When right now after you sink, you log in just to find out you need to spend hours hauling just to craft 1 dura boat what happens then? you log out or quit the game.
  8. Well I played this game when it first released and it was great, then someone decided to make it a long grind and this is the result I think. I hope they bring back what people liked, because unfortunately it's too difficult for any new or casual player. We can't have 300 people per server in this huge open world, it won't work. Naval Action Legends is for Vets to have fun, the rest of population will require content that is casual player friendly.
  9. To all those who are saying do not bring free ships back. Check Steam rating and read reviews. It is 'Mostly Negative' with people complaining about long grind, everything is too expensive and takes too much time, so keep fighting here while game is being rated with thumbs down. I believe free NPC ships up to 4th rate is a must.
  10. They did many times. After heavy use guns would explode even killing crew.
  11. It's not there yet, this NPC ship capture will almost put it in place where it will feel great. Only, last small detail are cannons and their cost. Tune them and we got everything just right. On top of these 2 problems we have time sink that multiplies each problem by 10. So, Developers need to fix gun cost and availability (read my recent suggestion) and tune OS travel speeds. It still takes too long for any casual player to sail around.
  12. Easily accessible to new players is a very important goal Developers need to focus on. They need to loosen the screws a bit, game is too tight for any newcomer. For you on the other hand it's easy and you give no **** about population and game health. Saying it's stupid is like throwing rock in the dark room expecting to hit someone.
  13. You say some, some will I am sure. Not all will use companions, charts and other tools...The problem here is we do not provide opportunity for 'all'. In your area it works fine, but on the other side new guys are struggling to replace guns and get ships. All this effects this beautiful game and we even loose players. Giving them opportunity to get free guns with extra work is always good. In the end they will provide you with an excellent fight and will shortly return for more. Let them grind, get ships and guns and bring Action to your waters.
  14. but with this, you are forcing players to sail back to port all the time. I suggest give them an extra option to get such guns at sea where they are.
