Unfortunately I'm still very busy outside of Naval Action and without a working computer or stable internet. Like me, CoH is not dead either! Just in hiding... Stealthy like. Unless Hertzog has been playing Open World again, then its the opposite. As one of the joint founders of the AoC I have just this to say. For anyone who is looking for a home away from politics, drama, or maybe you just like our name, you are welcome here. You do not need permission to join, there is no lengthy ceremony or criminal check, and you do not need to sacrifice your first born child. All I would suggest is join up with our forums, and make yourself known. The AoC is only what it's memberbase makes it. That's how you know you're truly free here. I cant tell if the OP's original concerns about player guilds have been addressed. My only serious thought on the subject is tthis. Solo captains should learn to employ fore and aft vessels. While there is nothing limiting large group from using the same, you'll have far better chances escaping a fleet of trinco's in a Privateer than you would in a surprise.

    I know for a fact that although I am associated with Arms of Chaos, I plan on working mainly for my own ends. Acquiring precious goods, transporting cargo and livestock, and of course paying my taxes to the Crown. All above board and legal I might add...nothing the Navy boys would be interested in or have any issues with I'm sure...
