  1. I can understand your sentiments here, and after playing Diablo for quite some time myself, can fully agree with your conclusions. But, there has to be a balance. IMO there has to be something more than just looting bales of cotton, or units of ore; as many others have suggested. I don't necessarily agree with the consumables as some have suggested, but l do wish to see something more than just what is currently in game.
  2. But again, all you need is World of Warships. There you can sink as many ships as you like, and at a much faster rate. They already have port battles in the works, and should be implemented soon. So what is to separate World of Warships from Naval Action?? Just the fact that one has sails and the other doesn't?? I already ground my way through Warships. If I'm going to have to do the same here, I'll stick with Warships, or just find another game altogether; as I already said, I'm tired of Warships. There has to be an incentive to do something, otherwise the game is just pointless; just like Warships has become.
  3. I'm sorry, but I have to disagree here. Without loot, why have pirates, trade ships, or any commerce at all? Something has to be there to provide incentive to even engage another ship or player. Without a loot system of some sort, all you have is World of Warships. And quite frankly, after grinding multiple tier 10's, I'm quite tired of that game.
  4. I'm game for anything that isn't a repair item. Happy to get loot when it's rarely given, but getting really tired of always seeing that it's a repair item. Cannon upgrades... anyone? Anyone??
  5. This may not be the right place to say this, but... What I'd also like to see is one GRAND vessel per nation added that is solely AI controlled and guarded by a grand fleet. Following current rules, it would be immediately sold to admiralty upon capture, and put back into service for the capturing nation. To capture it would cause bragging rights for the capturing nation, and inflame the nation that lost her. These vessels would always be at sea, and their location undisclosed. They must be tracked down, and when discovered, larger fleets would gather to either capture, or protect her. These battles would have much higher payouts, to encourage participation, and if captured, two or three ships of the capturing team would be guaranteed exceptional quality upgrades in addition to experience and gold. This would probably fall more into endgame, but how exciting could/would it be?
  6. By all means, please add loot. My thoughts exactly.
  7. This happened to me on two occasions today. Both times I had picked up ore in Georgetown and attempted to sell it at two different locations for 222 / unit. Instead I was only paid at 111/unit at each location. I could understand this if the sell price dropped after I had sold my iron at 222. However, after accepting my iron at 222, and only paying out at 111, the sell price still remained 222. If the port had only wanted, say 50, at that rate, then it should be indicated; or am I expected to sell ore 1 unit at a time, and stop when I'm suddenly paid half??
