@adminWe'll agree to disagree. But I still have one question ... Why are there diplomats in the game? Just to coordinate within a nation? About what? Only on national issues? Everyone who sees this game for the first time will be excited, but will also see that with 8 nations in the game you can never seriously wage war against all of them at the same time. With the current server population spread across the 8 nations you need alliances to make a difference.

In the world of nations this is called diplomacy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diplomacy One of the goals is to find out the enemy's goals and to turn nations with similar goals into allies. Given the views expressed, it is no wonder that we still do not have a working diplomacy or alliance system. The mentioned paragraphs from the British or American naval law (? the source was not mentioned) refer to two parties in state of war. Since we have not implemented an alliance system or diplomacy in the game, they are not applicable here.

Dear Admin, if you already think that the mean, long-time player is too stupid to realize what is good for the game and to communicate with other players of other nations besides in the forum ... Do you deny this ability to the clan leaders and diplomats of the nations / clans? I have to assume so, since you compare us all to the most uneducated people in the Middle Ages. My suggestion, which doesn't improve your wrong assumption and attitude, but might help us players a bit, is a new diplomat chat, which only players with diplomat status can read and use. For the daily small talk between the nations there could be a kind of tavern. The chat with the enemy in combat should be reintroduced, but it should be easy to switch off. e.g. with a button in the GUI In conclusion, I would like to say that a player who plays an MMO has to put up with communication with other players. The possibility to turn off the chat or ignore other players should be given. We could, I think, all live with that. Sincerely Berend Karpfanger

The global chat could hide, the help chat also ... and in the battle you could ignore players (?) ... I never did it because I concentrated on sailing. I think the development here has gone in a completely wrong direction. ... away from communication in the community ... ... no help for newcomers ... ... no fair gesture to the opponent after a good fight .... ... still no alliance or diplomatic system Fortunately, you can change that again ... right?

I really like the changes regarding sailing. They make the game a bit more realistic, although a bit more complex for beginners. Also, I think some fine tuning is needed here. The Portbattle teleport system is bullshit in my opinion. But I have already criticized that elsewhere. Looting wrecks from a distance is an invitation to steal... and thus a self-created problem that we don't need. It contradicts the increased complexity of sailing if I can plumb wrecks from a distance and don't even have to sail there. In reality, one might have launched dinghies. But that would have taken a while.

I think if we already have to do PVE to get RVR or PVP, the flags should only be bound to the nation. Some players like PVE and why should they be forced to do PVP. Of course, the whole thing also applies vice versa. -
In my opinion, the removal of the global and chat in combat is a big step backwards, which nobody wants or has demanded. The Global Chat is important for communication across national borders and it is not very wise to remove it as long as there is an established diplomatic system in the game. We need a way to communicate with the opponent in the game! The removal of the chat with the opponent in battle is an equally sad story. The whole thing is at the expense of the players, who do not abuse this chat and treat other players with respect. @Admin and Devs: Please think again about whether you really want to keep this. If you are not sure, please take a poll about it.

The way I see it, this patch promotes the alt accounts. So a player can have PVP with his main Acc and drive his karma into the negative towards a nation, while his alt can trade peacefully with that nation and even build ships in its ports? This is generally called schizophrenia. Of course, this is already the case today when the alt acc is in the other nation. I know of one player who has accidentally attacked himself at some point ... i.e. his own alt account. I do not know if this game is healthy in the long run

... das glaube ich nicht. Ich denke, die guten Spieler haben einen Main-Acc und Alts zum Handeln, Produzieren, Spionieren oder just for fun ... Die Wenigsten schaffen es, mnit mehreren Accs gleichzeitig zu agieren (wie zB. Lenin). Da ich weder ein guter Spieler bin noch Alts habe, kann ich das aber nur vermuten bzw. aus meinen Gesprächen mit den Kollegen ableiten. Unsere Screening-Flotten bestehen also aus realen Spielern, die PVP und RVR haben wollen. -

moin moin, die Zeiten, in denen eine Screening-Flotte ein Suizid-Kommando war und man mit billigen oder geboardeten Schiffen gescreent hat, sind schon lange vorbei. Das würde ich nur noch befürworten, wenn es der 3+1ste geflippte Hafen ist und nicht genügend Screener da sind. Heute kann eine gut zusammenarbeitende Truppe in guten Schiffen (<25 Spieler) eine gegnerische, nominell überlegene Screenig-Flotte ganz schön dezimieren bzw. eine kleinere PB-Flotte aufreiben. Bei uns führten erfolgreiche Screenings in der Vergangenheit oft dazu, dass die guten Spieler gar nicht mehr ins taktische und manchmal langweilige PB wollten und lieber im Screening PVP-Spaß gesucht haben. Natürlich gibt es auch gute und spannende PBs ... mir ist es egal, ob ich im Screening oder im PB kämpfe. Ich möchte nur überall dabei sein und mich für die Nation einbringen. Neue Features, die Spieler vom PVP auf dem Server ausschließen, halte ich für falsch. Die PZ ist mir für ein OW Spiel zu wenig. -
If I have built up a negative reputation towards a nation, how can I regain a positive reputation? Only through doubloons... a sort of medieval selling of indulgences... It's quite possible that my battle will be joined by a player on the opposing side who actually belongs to an allied nation. Will my reputation decrease if I fight him? What about battle groups of players with different reputations? Suppose the group wants to support a group from an allied nation and joins a battle. Is it possible that some players will be left out because they don't have the necessary reputation? I'm excited to test the feature, but I don't think a system based on individual players' reputation can replace a nation-based alliance system.

In my opinion, a transport function that teleports an entire PB fleet to the PB is a completely absurd idea, which according to the polls most players reject. Screening Battles have become an important part of this game. This has been seen in the last days after the PBs are finally back on the PVP server. Of course, smaller nations have a hard time withstanding strong screening. But the solution is not to avoid or abolish screening, but to have a working alliance system where the small nation can be officially supported (without alts and exploits) by another, allied nation. It would be downright unnatural if there were no ships on the OW around a PB, because the ghost PB fleet is only teleported anyway. That the question about the teleport comes from the Russian nation of all places makes me laugh.
